Churt came into the game having not played for a couple of weeks, due to last weeks game being called off.
They were missing Star Striker, Hannah Watts (hamstring) and Martha and Tia who were away, but still able to name a strong team, starting 4-4-1-1.
Although the game was officially Churt's home game, because the previous one was reversed, the game was played at Dorking's ground. After bad instructions, a locked portaloo and turning up to a bobbly pitch, the game started and was very close.
Churt had the better of the first half, but neither side had a really good chance and the first half ended up 0-0.
Churt were frustrated at half time, as there were alot of niggly fouls, so they went out even stronger and more determined in the second half.
Eventually the break through came down the left, with Alex Hayward, doing a great ball through to Maisie Lambert, who listened to her coach's instructions and cut in with the ball, so she could have a good angle to shoot. Boom, 1-0!
With a couple of minutes of the restart, a carbon copy goal came again, this time Ruby Clarke providing the assist and Churt were now deservedly 2-0 ahead, with Maisie Putting her second home.
Churt continued to be on top, with Dorking making attacks, but nothing really of strength, in the end it was a midfield battle on a bobbly and narrow pitch and Churt's superiority showed.
On the 74th minute, Dorking scored from a free kick and it was a great free kick too . 2-1.
So the last minutes, although Churt still on top, were a bit tighter, but the referee blew the whistle and Churt came out 2-1 winners, and deservedly so.
Player of the Match, Maisie Lambert, but lots of strong performances. !! Well done girls!
