The Teams came into the Quarter Final in the cup, being placed 3rd and 2nd in the league, so everyone knew the game would be close.

It started end to end, but Churt struck first when Hannah Watts was put through and scored!, But suddenly the flag was up and she was given offside, hmmm, where's VAR when you need it. 0-0.

Churt scored again, however this one was definitely offside and the game remained 0-0 with both teams battling but Churt being the more direct.

Suddenly the Churt defence made a couple of errors and Teddington were through on goal and scored, 1-0 Teddington.

Churt a little shocked to be behind, played a bit messily and Teddington took charge, coming close to scoring again from a couple of corners.

Then on the 27th minute they got their second. 2-0 Teddington and thats how it ended at half time.

The teams came out battling for the second half, and Churt still had some chances, but on the 50th minute, a mis hit shot from Teddington looped over Churt goaly, Tilly Carr. 3-0. It didnt seem like Churt's day today.

A few changes were made, due to injury and need of fresh legs. Also formation, Churt went to a back three and pushed more into the midfield and then again started to dominate, but it just wouldnt go in. At one point Lily Jay, looped a shot against the crossbar, grrrr.

Suddenly on the 66th minute Churt had more bodies on the edge of the box and it was passed from Maisie to Ruby, who put Hannah in, Hannah struck a shot, the keep got a touch but it was too powerful . 3-1.!

Now Churt had Teddington pinned back, and even put Isobel Kandak up front, meaning they had 2 at the back!. But still they couldnt get back in the game, however hard they tried. Dominating possession, creating chances, but Teddington holding out well.

The game ended 3-1 to Teddington and the Churt League cup run comes to an end. Next week back to the league at last and well done Teddington, it was a close game, but Teddington were worthy winners (JUST)
