Another Great win in the cup

Churt arrived at this re-arranged fixture, not knowing much about the opposition, and with a few players missing, but with so many games postponed recently it was important to play.

And the Satelittes were firing within the first minute, with Hannah Watts tucking home her first after an assist from Ruby Clarke.

After 3 minutes, Maisie Lambert got the ball to Alexander Hayward, who took the ball into the edge of the area and fired a looping shot over the keeper. This pair are becoming a big threat down the left.

After 5 mins, Churt had their third, with Maisie Lambert providing an assist for Ruby Clarke's first goal! 3-0

After 7 mins, Ruby Clarke swung in a corner and Lily Jay volleyed the ball home. 4-0

Churt continued to dominate the game, but missed a few chances, but finally got their 5th goal on 25 minutes, when Ruby Clarke assisted for Maisie Lambert to fire home. 5-0

On 28 minutes, Hannah Watts, intercepted the Goalkick and turned and fired home her 2nd and Churt's 6th. 6-0

Amy O'Donnell came off as Churt introduced Ella Farrier, whose had a few weeks off with a cold.

Ella had an immediate impact, but it wasn't till the 32nd minute that Ruby Clarke dribbled the 7th goal home. 7-0.

Churt moved a few positions around. Maisie and Alex switching on the left. Emily and Hannah Watts switching positions and Lily and Amy T doing the same, but Churt's dominance continued, and on the 35th minute, Hannah Watts, shot home from 25 yards and won herself a Tenner, as Churt Coach (and her dad, Greig), had offered the first goal from outside the box gets a Tenner!. 8-0

3 minutes later, Ella scored with an assist for Maisie (another one). 9-0

And with a minute to go before half time, Hannah Watts returned the favour that her sister has done so many times, and passed the ball through the gap between the defenders, Emily ran onto the ball and smashed the ball home. Yes you can score Emily Watts. 10-0 and Half time.

Churt put Tilly Carr in goal for the second half as planned, and Jamie Nixon came out onto the pitch, having touched the ball once in the first half.

Hannah Watts and Lily Jay came off for a well earned 10 minute rest.

Churt started the second half well, many players now in unfamiliar positions. Isobel Kandak now leading the attack with Ruby Clarke in defence.

It took 8 minutes to get the next goal, with Amy Thompson making a beautiful looping pass for Isobel Kandak to run onto and place past the keeper, 11-0. The opposition linesman did very well, as there was a Churt player standing offside but not interfering with play so the goal stood.

8 minutes later, Jamie Nixon (Previously in goal for Churt), made a great left footed cross into the box and Ella Farrier tucked home her second. 12-0

And a minute later, Isobel Kandak, scored her second, off a slight deflection, but every girl was determined to get on the scoresheet. (Assist from Ella Farrier). 13-0

After 65 minutes, after several efforts, Jamie Nixon, finally scored her first Churt goal, assisted once again by Maisie Lambert. 14-0

2 minutes later, Tallula Musgrove, Now playing upfront, scored a well struck goal after being put through than none other than MAISIE LAMBERT. 15-0

Now the only player left on the pitch who hadn't scored was Amy Thompson. She was playing up front and on 71 minutes, Ruby Clarke swung in a corner and Amy Thompson struck home. The whole team celebrated as they had been willing Amy to score. 16-0.

The game ended 16-0 and with alot of great play from a team on form.

Churt enter the Christmas season with 11 wins out of 11 for the season. Now hoping that the fixture pile up next year doesn't effect the future results. Riding high in the league and still in both clubs. The coach's are super proud of all the girls and how they play together as a team!
