Churt arrived at the second game of the season facing R&R girls with Phoebe Mitchell making her debut. The game kicked off and the satellites started dominating play, on the second minute Hannah Watts got the ball and took a shot from outside the penalty box and it went in!!!! 1-0.
Churt tookan early lead but were not safe yet. As the play went on Churt continued to be on top, battling away, taking control of the game.
Finally they got a penalty, after a nasty Tackle on Maisie Lambert, Ella Farrier stepped up, shot and found the back of the net. Now 2-0.
Shortly After, Ella Farrier got the ball and shot and scored her second, 3-0 Churt!
With 17 minutes to go until half time, Amy O'Donnell and Amy Thompson came on for Ella and Lily Jay. Churt continued to be on top but were starting to tire a bit and letting a few balls over the top, Phoebe did well chasing back the attackers and making a last minute tackle.
Not long after Churt were awarded another free kick, Hannah took it and scored, 4-0!
Churt satellites had a lot of possession, pressing the keeper at goal kicks, Amy T got the ball and took a shot but the keeper caught it and dropped it and there was the predator, Hannah Watts to tap it in, 5-0 and her first hat trick of the season, and thats how it stayed at half time!
Both teams came out at half time fighting for the win, R & R Girls were a lot better than the previous half and dominating More, but the satellites still making those strong and important tackles to keep them out
Half way through the Churt got a corner. Ella crossed it in and Amy T was there to tap it in, 6-0.
And towards the end of the game, Ruby Clark received the ball from Emily Watts on the half way line and dribbled all the way, all the players backed off her, she took a shot and finally got a well deserved goal, 7-0. As the final whistle blew it ended R & R FC Girl 0 - Churt Satellites 7, keeping Churt top of the table.
A great team win again, the Churt defence of Emily Watts, Tallula Musgrove and Isobel Kandak, once a gain stood stern, whilst Tilly Carr, in goal, made a couple of important saves, to protect the team's clean sheet.
The last ditch tackles, made by Phoebe Mitchell, showed how important she will be to the team this season and winning her the Woman of The Match Award on her debut!
