The two sides kicked off, with Churt wanting to bounce back from last week's, first loss of the season, and Walton & Hersham searching for their first win of the season. The first half was played out very tightly and cautiously, with the most memorable moment coming from Churt's, Amy Thompson, looping a long shot onto the crossbar. At Half Time the score was 0-0.
Churt kicked off the second half and started with a bang, Hannah Watts scoring on the 33rd minute, from a great assist from Lily Jay. Churt had Walton pinned back continually at this point, as they were now benefiting from the slightly sloped pitch, and they kept creating chance after chance. Some great saves, from Walton's keeper, kept them out until Hannah Watts scored her second in the 40th minute. This came after a great long assist from Tallula Musgrove. Churt Hit the bar and the crossbar again and Walton struggled to get out of their half, apart from a couple of breaks. On 48 minutes Churt got their third, which made the game safe. Amy O'Donnell scoring from a nice combination assist, again from Lily Jay after a nice through pass from Emily Watts. Ella Farrier continually whipped in corners throughout the game but Churt couldn't quite get on the end of them. There was one chance towards the end where Walton were through on goal but Churt keeper, Tilly Carr came running off her line to clear the ball to safety. The game finished 0-3, with Churt the deserved winners in the second half and another great "Team" performance.
