The teams played with 8 players as Churt had a few players missing for various reasons. Ella Farrier took on the goalkeeping duties and made some really strong saves in the first half whilst Mole Valley put Churt under pressure. The first half ended 0-0 and was a tight half between two strong teams.
In the second half, Ella Farrier came out of goal and was replaced by Maisie Lambert and Lily Jay for a quarter each. Ella soon scored an amazing individual goal to put Churt 1 - 0 up. Shortly after Hannah Watts fired in a shot that hit a Mole Valley defender and went in, 2- 0 to Churt who were starting to take control of the game with attack after attack. The Churt defence also continued to play strongly with Tallula Musgrove and Emily Watts commanding at the back. A great move on the right side ended up with A Mole Valley player handling the ball in the penalty area. Ella Farrier scored with a very strong penalty to make it 3-0. Shortly after there was another good move down the right hand side, with a quick throw from Amy Thompson, a smart pass from Ella Farrier and a cool finish from Hannah Watts the score was suddenly 4-0. The game ended 4-0 and the scoreline flattered Churt a little, as they were under pressure in the first half, but with a great team performance and a Woman of the match performance from Ella Farrier the eventual win was deserved!
