Ever since we started as an independent club just over 4 years ago, our aim has been to give as many girls and ladies of all ages the opportunity of playing football in the right environment so that they will love it and carry on playing, year after year.

With the help of our amazing volunteers and sponsors, we are continuing to do just that:

150 new players in the last two years
Quite incredibly our player numbers continue to grow year on year, and the vast majority of these players are new to girls’ and ladies’ club football. Even better, they are across all of our age ranges; from 4 years olds to those in their 50s.

Over 375 players at Churt Girls FC
In July 2017, 8 players came along to the first Churt Girls training session. We are now rapidly approaching having 400 players who enjoy playing football with us. We have development opportunities available at all ages to enable our player numbers to continue to grow over the coming season.

25 Teams entered for matches for the 2025/26 Season
Not only are we focussing on getting more girls playing football, but we also want to give them the opportunity of playing matches when they are ready to do so. As a result, we have been able to set up 6 new teams across all age ranges for the coming season.

Our players
We have players at all stages of their football journey. Several go to academies and play as often as they can – but still choose to play for Churt Girls FC. Others are just starting out, and train and play matches each week with us. Others currently are training only players and will choose to play matches when they are ready to do so.

Development Sessions
We are particularly proud that we can offer development sessions for players of all ages, ranging from our new Sunday morning sessions for 4 year-olds to our Wednesday evening ladies’ beginner sessions. Whatever your age, there is a development session for you to come along to and get to play football in the right environment for you.
