As Ellie says, ‘Three years ago, I wouldn’t have bothered to watch any football match on television, but now I try to watch as many WSL matches as I can, and it will be amazing to go to Wembley again to see the Women’s FA Cup Final – I hope Arsenal Women will get there, but I will love the game even if they don’t make it.’

Since the Women’s World Cup final, our player numbers have increased massively: we now have over 275 players enjoying their football with us. It is great that our players can play matches for one of our 22 teams, but we are equally proud to have many players that just come along and enjoy training, from as young as 6-years-old, to teenagers, and to our lady footballers.

As we keep saying, Churt Girls FC is a club that welcomes all girl and lady footballers, from beginners to experienced players, and we are very happy to have players coming along to just train with us.
